Nominal scholarships for further studies presented to the most gifted VMU students of economics and management
The most gifted postgraduates of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) Faculty of Economics and Management were presented with diplomas verifying personally granted nominal scholarships. The granted scholarships will allow the students to attain a double Master’s Degree abroad under the joint study programmes in university partners of VMU.
“I salute the winners of these scholarships — the best students of the Faculty of Economics and Management. I sincerely wish them to attain as much personal and professional experience as they can in the next school year and to bring that experience back to Lithuania. I believe that the knowledge that postgraduates acquire in Belgium will be applied in creating a not only personal but country- wide well-being,” Paulius Vazniokas, the Director of Economics of AB INTER RAO Lietuva, said.
Rūta Zinkevičiūtė and Mantas Seilius, postgraduates of Finance and Banking studies, as well as Gintarė Novikaitė, a postgraduate of Marketing and International Commerce studies were recognised as the most gifted by the (VMU) university itself and were presented with nominal AB INTER RAO Lietuva scholarships.
In the year 2014, INTER RAO Lietuva has established three nominal scholarships —one worth EUR 3,000 and two worth EUR 1,500. The postgraduates of VMU will attain them by studying in the Louvain School of Management of the Belgium-based Université catholique de Louvain (Catholic University of Louvain) under the joint study programme.
Since its establishment, INTER RAO Lietuva cooperates with Vytautas Magnus University and supports the development and improvement of this scholastic institution activity in Kaunas.
