AB “Plasta” buys electricity from “INTER RAO Lietuva” and uses both the renewable energy label and the certificate granted by the company
AB “INTER RAO Lietuva” supplies electricity to AB “Plasta”, one of the largest manufacturers of plastic products in the Baltic countries.
AB “Plasta”, one of the socially responsible clients of AB “INTER RAO Lietuva”, is successfully using a renewable energy label. The label and the certificate of renewable energy are both granted by AB “INTER RAO Lietuva” to those business entities which find it important to inform the clients that they are using electricity purchased from the independent supplier that produces electricity from renewable resources.
UAB “Vydmantai wind park”, a subsidiary of “INTER RAO Lietuva”, generates electricity in a 30 MW-capacity company-controlled wind farm located in western Lithuania.
At present, AB “INTER RAO Lietuva”, in accordance with the commitments undertaken, extends the validity of current contracts and concludes new ones with electricity consumers—legal persons. Also, the company announced that it has already extended the validity of existing contracts on the supply of electricity or entered into the new ones with UAB “MAXIMA LT”, public limited liability companies “Lietuvos geležinkeliai”, “Lietuvos paštas”, and companies which own shopping and entertainment centres “Akropolis”.
